DAY 1: Welcome to Rishikesh
Rishikesh
is a 6 hour drive from Delhi. Entering Rishikesh you may wish to go to
your hotel and have a little rest and lunch. You can spend the rest of
the day sight seeing in Rishikesh.
DAY 2: Introduction to Yoga
The
yoga sessions are typically taken early in the morning. Here you will
be taught different techniques of yoga and meditation. On the first day,
the yoga class will focus on the basics of yoga in a short but
informative session. You will also be shown how to perform some simple
yoga postures known as asanas. You will be informed about the different
benefits of doing yoga and their requirements. We then rest a little,
take a light lunch and spend the evening sight seeing and exploring in
Rishikesh. A typical trip may take you to the two suspension bridges
about an hour’s drive from Rishikesh. They are known as the Ram Jhula
and the Laxman Jhula. You have the rare opportunity to participate in
the Ganga aarti near Ram Jhula.
