A guest can eat only a limited quantity of food in a given amount of time. So we try to make them sample as much as food as possible by including breaks in form of sightseeing during the tour. Not only it increases the amount of food included in each food tour, it also makes it more enjoyable and informative. DAY 1: McLeodganj to Triund

Triund is a ridge with a  beautiful view of  Kangra Valley encircled by Dhauladhar mountain range. We will begin from Dharmkot and walk through the beautiful forests of rhododendron, devdar and numerous other tree species. Say hello to a large variety of butterflies, birds and cute ladybugs on the way. After a bit of rest, we can also visit a small temple there. Our destination for the day is snowline which is 4 km away from Triund. There is a small glacial lake Got situated at the base of glacier which is called snowline. The actual position of snowline may differ by a few meters in different season. We’ll have lunch there and come back to Triund by evening for night stay.

DAY 3 :Triund to McLeodganj

After having a hearty breakfast, we will come back by the same route we took earlier or take a detour which will take us to Bhagsunag Temple. If it’s latter, we can enjoy the view and sound of waterfall efore reaching ancient Bhagsunag temple which is around 15 minutes walk from Mcleodganj.

For more serious foodies, cooking classes or demos are the next step in their culinary journeys. Udaipur Food Tour offers custom cooking demos and classes which are led by qualified chefs. Each class has limited amount of seats and small group sizes are preferred.
The chefs teach their students the proper way to use ingredients and spices in Indian cooking, so that the guests can prepare the authentic Indian food almost anywhere with minimum ingredients and effort.
Prior experience of cooking is not required, but is highly desirable. The guests can learn to make anything from simple Daal (lentils) to specialised delicacies like Laal Maas and much more. DAY 1: McLeodganj to Triund and back

(Altitude 2975 m, Distance 9 Km) Mcleodganj Triund  Day Trek
Triund is a ridge with a  beautiful view of  Kangra Valley surrounded by Dhauladhar mountain range. We will begin the trek  from Dharmkot and walk through the beautiful forests of rhododendron, devdar and numerous other tree species. We’ll see a large variety of butterflies, birds and cute ladybugs on the way. After a bit of rest and lunch, we can also visit a small temple there.
After getting refreshed, we can either walk back to Mcleodganj the same way or take a detour via Bhagsunag where we can enjoy the waterfall for a while before walking back to Mcleodganj.

The food joints that you will visit have been there since many generations and are known for their quality and taste of the food that they provide. The oldest place that you will visit is 110 years old and the youngest is 40. This trip in the old part of Delhi will find you walking through the narrow medieval streets of Delhi. DAY 2: Cook & Eat 

Now is the time when you actually get a chance to cook some of the different varieties dishes that you tasted the day before. We will organize a half day cooking class for you which will be guided by a chef and his family. The class begins by making of masala chai (Indian tea) and some fried Indian snacks known as Pakodas which are best enjoyed hot with chutney (dips). You will enjoy your chai and pakodas as the chef gives an introduction about Indian food and the expectations he has from you to make the most of this cooking class. Now you actually start cooking. You will be taught to cook some dishes which make for staple Indian meals like daal and pulao, egg plant raita, rotis and stuffed parathas (stuffed and fried rotis). You will also learn to make some delicious Indian vegetable and dessert such as halwa, kheer etc. If non-vegetarian dishes are included,  then you can have butter chicken, chicken tikka and mutton curry. We now have a sumptuous spread of dishes in front of us which we will savor in the form of a meal. At the end of the class the chef will gift you with the small spice hamper with a collection of essential Indian spices to carry back home and use in your own cooking.....
